First, let me start off by saying that I am in no way, shape, or form perfect in living a healthy, clean, and socially responsible lifestyle. Amongst other things, I don’t exercise enough, I eat out a lot, and I definitely enjoy an occasional wine, beer, or cocktail. But I am trying and each positive choice definitely matters.
What is healthy, clean, and socially responsible anyway? Exercise and rest. Making self-care a priority. Minimizing processed foods. Paying attention to what we eat and what is in what we eat. Choosing organic and local whenever possible. Drinking more water. Taking vitamins and supplements. Eliminating additives, preservatives, and questionable ingredients. Reducing our carbon footprint. Decreasing the use of disposable and non-recyclable items. Supporting local and small businesses and business that are cruelty-free. The list can go on and on.
On this journey I have put together a list of products that I use and companies that I do business with. Full disclosure – some of these I have signed up with to be a direct sales rep and I do make money from my referrals. Others are just recommendations. In either case, I only will recommend something that I have tried and actually would use.

Tupperware is great for helping to reduce single use plastic. I use my sandwich takers and my salad container to bring lunch to work - it's better than disposable containers or ziplocs, it helps me to eat healthier, and it saves me money when I don't buy lunch.
